The Problem With Grimy Hard Surfaces

We live in a maritime climate where moss and algae make a green, slippery mess of everything — decks, driveways, patios, sidewalks, and stairs. It's not just ugly. It's dangerous.

What dirty hard surfaces cost you:

  • Slip-and-fall hazards for your family and guests
  • Permanent staining and surface damage over time
  • Curb appeal that doesn't match your standards
  • Outdoor spaces you avoid instead of enjoy
  • That low-grade embarrassment every time you pull into the driveway

You shouldn't feel behind on your own property.

Pressure washing services in Seattle

Our Approach

Renova's field staff has specialized equipment and the right training to manage messes and bring back the shine to the hard surfaces around your home.

High Pressure for Tough Jobs

For concrete, aggregate, asphalt, and other durable surfaces, we use high pressure to tackle the toughest grime.

Soft Washing for Delicate Surfaces

For painted areas, house siding, stucco, and some wood, we use low and variable pressure techniques to ensure delicate surfaces are treated with care and left undamaged.

Sanitizing Solutions

Our process includes the application of eco-friendly solutions that not only clean but also sanitize. This kills mold and algae spores and results in a longer-lasting clean since it will take time for new growth to appear.

FAQ's

Do I need to prepare anything before your arrival?

We kindly ask that any personal belongings that need to stay dry be moved indoors and any outdoor furniture that is preventing access be moved aside. Our technicians can move and replace furniture and belongings for you, but an additional surcharge may be added to your quote.

Do you need a water source?

Yes, we will need a reliable water source at your home or place of business to be able to perform this work. We will provide all other supplies and equipment needed.

Do I need to be home while you do the work?

Unless we are cleaning a rooftop deck or a balcony over 3 stories from the ground we can complete this service without interior access or you needing to be at home.

Do you pressure wash house siding?

When cleaning home siding and trim we use a process called 'soft washing'. This refers to an application of detergent, a thorough soak (and occasionally a soft scrub with a brush), and a low pressure rinse. Using high pressure on siding can cause damage to your home, strip paint, and even lead to water penetrating your home's protective envelope.

What surfaces can be safely pressure washed?

Many exterior hard surfaces can be pressure washed (concrete, aggregate, asphalt, etc.). But it's important to use the right pressure setting and cleaning solution for each surface. For many other surfaces (including painted areas, house siding, stucco, and some wood) we recommend a soft wash. Let us know if you have a specific area or surface you have concerns about and we are happy to answer your questions!

How much does pressure washing cost?

The cost varies depending on the size of the area to be cleaned, the type of surface, and the level of grime. We will present you with an itemized price list of all areas you would like cleaned so you can pick and choose the right plan for your home.

How long does the pressure washing process take?

This can vary widely depending on the size of the areas and the extent of the cleaning needed. A typical driveway and pathway cleaning might take 2 to 4 hours, while larger projects or more specialized cleanings could take longer. We're happy to give you an estimate on how long we'll need to be at your home once we've seen the areas you would like serviced.

Are your technicians trained and insured?

Yes, our technicians are highly trained, experienced professionals who undergo regular training to stay updated on the latest techniques and safety protocols. We are fully insured for your peace of mind.

How often should I schedule pressure washing?

It depends on your specific needs, but we generally recommend having this service done once a year. If you live in a heavily shaded area or have limited drainage and standing water on your hard surfaces you may find that they need a more regular cleaning.
